Grunwald 1410 Bracelet (Bronze)
Details:
- oxidised bronze;
- width: approximately 17 mm;
- adjustable fit.
Description:
Grunwald 1410 draws on the Battle of Grunwald of 15 July 1410. Its sculpted details include shields bearing the Polish eagle and the Lithuanian Pahonia, clashing knights, a profile of Władysław Jagiełło and the date of the victory over the Teutonic Order.
The battle scene continues into sword-shaped ends. Made entirely in oxidised bronze, the bracelet has a substantial form and a dark finish that brings out the relief.
This limited edition was created to mark the millennium of the coronation of Bolesław Chrobry and to commemorate the victory at Grunwald.
The open ends can be adjusted gently to fit the wrist. The thick bronze construction requires controlled pressure: avoid excessive force and repeated bending, which can weaken the metal.
