Description:
The Our Lady of Częstochowa medal is made in 925 sterling silver.
The medal portrays Our Lady of Częstochowa, also known as the Black Madonna, with the infant Jesus. The Polish inscription “Matko Boska, módl się za nami” means “Mother of God, pray for us”. An oxidised background brings out the silver image.
It measures approximately 38 mm in height, including the bail, and weighs approximately 11 g. Supplied in a presentation box. The bail fits chains up to 8 mm thick; the chain is sold separately.
