Description:
The Our Lady of Częstochowa medal is made in gold vermeil over 925 sterling silver.
The medal portrays Our Lady of Częstochowa, also known as the Black Madonna. The Polish inscription “Matko Boska, módl się za nami” means “Mother of God, pray for us”. A dark background emphasises the gold finish of the image.
It measures approximately 38 mm in height, including the bail, and weighs approximately 11 g. Supplied in a presentation box. The bail fits chains up to 8 mm thick; the chain is sold separately.
ENIGMA vermeil combines 925 sterling silver with a thick gold coating. A 24ct gold layer measuring 2.5–3 microns forms the base of the finish. On request, a top layer of 14ct yellow or rose gold can be added to match the colour of traditional 585 gold jewellery.
The coating is covered by a 24-month warranty. After this period, a paid replating service is available.
