The design created for the Podhale Rifles Brigade was intended to express its mountain character and its connection with Podhale. It is one of our most demanding projects, capturing an extraordinary level of detail, right down to the texture of the eagle's feathers. Two side designs were selected, showing soldiers of the brigade in a mountain setting.

A central aim was to bring tradition and modernity together. The brigade's badges were woven into the design as integral parts of the ring's sides. Selective gold plating highlights these elements against the dark, ruthenium-plated sterling silver “stealth” finish. The badges remain clearly visible while forming part of the ornament.

Design

Ring Face

The brigade's motto, “Jakby co, kieby co, abo co, to my som”, surrounds the brigade badge and forms the central theme of the ring.

Right Side

The Mountain Company badge is incorporated into the relief on this side of the ring. Mountain scenery, a Podhale soldier with a traditional ciupaga axe and an eagle complete the composition.

Left Side

One of the most intricate reliefs we have produced at this scale: a mountain scene with four Podhale soldiers, a mountain landscape and the famous edelweiss emblem.
