3RD PODKARPACKIE TERRITORIAL DEFENCE BRIGADE

The mission of the 3rd Podkarpackie Territorial Defence Brigade is to defend and support local communities.

The brigade knew which elements it wanted in the design, while leaving the ring's form to us. The result is a unique piece filled with carefully crafted details. The unit's badge sits on the octagonal face, highlighted by navy-blue jewellery enamel.

The left side is dedicated entirely to the unit's patron, Łukasz Ciepliński, codename “Pług”. The relief depicts this patriot and soldier of the Polish Army and Home Army, together with motifs referring to his life. These include the secret letters he wrote to his family while imprisoned in Mokotów, which later became their most treasured keepsakes of him.

Design

Ring Face

The badge of the 3rd Podkarpackie Territorial Defence Brigade is the only element on the octagonal ring face. Navy-blue jewellery enamel gives it a distinctive character.

Sides

The Territorial Defence Forces eagle and the coat of arms of Rzeszów appear on the right side. The other relief holds particular significance for us. While working on the side dedicated to the unit's patron, Łukasz Ciepliński, codename “Pług”, we learned more about this remarkable patriot and soldier of the Polish Army and Home Army. We are proud that every brigade ring will preserve his memory.
