18TH RECONNAISSANCE REGIMENT

The 18th Białystok Reconnaissance Regiment was formed from the 18th Białystok Territorial Defence Battalion. Established in 2009, it is the youngest reconnaissance regiment in the Polish Armed Forces.

The right side refers to the traditions of the Carpathian Lancers Regiment and the 10th Lithuanian Lancers Regiment. The pennant bears two palm trees resting on a crescent, characteristic of the Carpathian Lancers. An eagle surrounding the lancer symbolises hope and strength.
